Quantum

The objective of this project is to develop and demonstrate pragmatic services and appropriate tools supporting quality management in the design, construction, commissioning and operation phase as a means to close the gap between calculated and actual energy performance of the European building stock which is estimated to be in average 25 % for energy performance and 1,5% for comfort performance. The project will integrate different innovative ICT-driven tools supporting the quality management process into building and energy services, and will apply them to a representative set of European buildings (taking into account different climate zones and different energy services). The result of this project will be a comprehensive QUANTUM quality management platform integrating tools, services and processes.

Objective is to develop and to demonstrate technologies and components for prefabricated modular renovation elements in five geoclusters in Europe. This includes prefabricated durable, innovative, modular composed building envelope elements for the total building envelop for the renovation market, including the prefab integration of multifunctional components for climate control, energy saving, building physics and aesthetics, with advanced easy to use plug&play connections (mechanical, hydraulic, air, electric, prefab airtight joints).

Clear-up : clean and resource efficient buildings for real life

Clear-up : clean and resource efficient buildings for real life
Clean buildings along with resource efficiency enhancement using appropriate materials and technology.
Clear-up presents a holistic approach to the reducing operational energy use in buildings. By development and novel use of nano-materials it aims to increase energy performance in heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC) and lighting systems, and to improve indoor air quality using catalytic purification. Clear-up’s solutions are designed for retro-fitting existing buildings and of course for new constructions.

IDES-EDU:Master and Post Graduate education and training in multi-disciplinary teams implementing EPBD and beyond ( * 01.07. 2010)

The IDES-EDU project educates,trains and delivers specialists, both students and professionals, in Integral Sustainable Energy Design of the Built Environment.

In IDES-EDU 15 universities will develop these curricula and training programmes for MSc students and Professionals within a European framework. The courses will be further elaborated and implemented within national consortia in which educational institutes will collaborate with relevant key actors and stakeholders, such as representatives and/or branch organisations of the building sector (constructors, real estate developers, architects, building research institutes, utilities, suppliers, consultants) and accrediting bodies.All EU member states will be addressed in this action by the university exchange programme, potentially involving universities in all member states, starting from the 3rd year of the project.

SGS 2010: Optimalizace návrhu solárních systémů z hlediska zabudované energie

The project deals with the design of solar systems in terms of embodied and operation energy in the whole system. The input data about embodied energy in solar systems will be obtained and precised within the framework of the project.
