the following system types:
Air-conditioning,
or climate control, is the process of treating air so as to control simultaneously
its temperature, humidity, cleanliness and distribution. All air-conditioning
systems fall into one of three major categorieslisted above. Each type has certain
functional and economic advantages. Some are better than others for specific
applications. The generic classification for these systems is shown in
the diagram.
This identification
indicates the controllable fluids supplied to each conditioned area for
the proper control of the atmospheric environment.
